Today is the day that Edinson Volquez takes the first step to becoming “Reds pitcher, Edinson Volquez,” instead of “that guy the Reds traded for Josh Hamilton.”
I think it’s safe to say that we’ll all be a lot more accepting of the Volquez/Hamilton trade if Volquez goes out there and has a great season.
But if Volquez does struggle this season, just look at this picture and all will be okay…
